Another difference was my parents not coming up to move me out this year. While I can leave some stuff in my apartment until the lease ends in August, I pretty much dragged everything home. My two-door Honda Accord, "Little Blue," was completely loaded down with my excessive amount of clothes, shoes, and purses. Just the shoes took over three big duffle bags, and I was stuffing my satchels and gently placing my Marc Jacobs bags wherever I found space. (P.S: I have a slight obsession with Marc. P.S.S: this means I probably shouldn't go shopping any time soon.)
My closet desperately needs a spring cleaning. I went through it about two years ago and kept stuff I thought I would wear, but have yet to touch. I always do that... I keep things because I don't want to let go, but before I know it, years have gone by and they aren't even in style anymore. Oops, hope I'm not turning into a scarey horder.
After unloading the mounds of clothes from my car (I left them on the hangers and just piled them to the roof... not lazy, just smart), I quickly realized not everything was going to fit on the racks. My dresses are currently laying on the ground probably getting very wrinkled.
Okay, so why don't I just clean out my closet? Well tomorrow I have to go on a major job hunt. I have got to find a job for the summer. The problem is no one wants to hire for just three months. I plan on hitting every retail store I can find hoping to win at least one manager over with my fashion sense, smile :D, and experience working at Polo Ralph Lauren, which sounds legit right?
So if I had more time I would clean out my closet. But considering I will be in all kinds of stores tomorrow, I have a bad feeling I'll be doing more adding to my shelves than purging.
This is ground zero. It's literally a disaster zone.
Hard hats should be required
Disaster area #2... stuffed racks and dresses on the ground,
plus more mess not shown. I have a bit of an addiction.
